Banks graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in public administration with a not-for-profit concentration.
Most recently, she was the educational programs manager at Eastern Eight Community Development Corporation, where she developed, implemented and facilitated new programs while building strong partnerships and relationships with the community.
Banks has resided in Kingsport for 17 years.
“Healthy Kingsport is elated to have Aiesha join as the new executive director. She comes to us with a lot of experience in the nonprofit space,” said Roger Mowen, Healthy Kingsport board chair. “I am confident she will be highly successful in her relationships with our board, our partners and our community.”
Healthy Kingsport is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a community that actively embraces healthy living by promoting wellness, enhancing infrastructure, and influencing policy.
