Tennessee nears 14,000 cases of COVID-19; death toll at 239

The Tennessee Department of Health on Wednesday reported 312 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total to 13,938 since tracking began in March.
The state also reported 13 new deaths for a total of 239; 65 new hospitalizations for a total of 1,221; and 208 new recoveries for a total of 6,564. Labs in the state had administered an aggregate of 227,101 tests for the virus — 8,305 more than in Tuesday’s total.
