Tennessee records nearly 10,000 COVID-19 cases

The Tennessee Department of Health on Monday reported 251 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total to 9,918 since tracking began in March.
The state also reported totals of 184 deaths, 837 hospitalizations and 4,720 recoveries.
In Northeast Tennessee, health departments listed a total of 187 cases, up three from Sunday’s total: Carter, 12; Greene, 41; Hancock, 0; Hawkins, 29; Johnson,3; Sullivan, 47; Unicoi, 1; and Washington, 54.
